Lil Wayne Hospitalized After Another Seizure In Chicago

Lil Wayne

lil Wayne’s health issues continue as the rapper was hospitalized yet again after suffering a seizure, this time in Chicago.

Wayne was taken to Northwestern Memorial hospital after he was found unconscious in his hotel room at the Westin on Michigan Avenue after suffering at least one seizure, reports TMZ. He reportedly suffered another seizure after reaching the hospital. Weezy has suffered from seizures for years. Last year too he had to skip a show after an epilepsy attack.

His team allegedly tried to get him discharged quickly so he could make it in time for his show at the Drai’s nightclub in Las Vegas at midnight but the doctors advised at least a few days rest. There is no word whether he’s still going ahead with the event, where he’s taking the stage alongside Rae Sremmurd.

We will update the story as more information becomes available.

A chance meeting at a posh event and a series of direct messages on Instagram led toIdols SA judge Somizi finding love again.

Somizi, who had always been shy to go into too much detail about his relationships, told True Love magazine that he met his prince charming at an exclusive champagne launch last month.

“We met in July at the exclusive Louis Vuitton and Moët & Chandon event, at which the top 20 customers in Joburg were invited for the launch of a new champagne,” he said.

Two days after meeting, Somizi said he received a direct message on Instagram from the man. After chatting for some time, the pair went on a date and have been together ever since.

Somizi did not reveal his man’s name but said that he was not in the entertainment industry.

On a recent episode of his reality show, Living the Dream with Somizi, the radio personality claimed that he was a “freelancer” in the love department and outlined his ideal man.

“He needs to have money. He has a job. He has a career. He has a house. He has everything. Until I found someone who is on my level, I’m not committing. I’ll freelance. I’ll be Mr. delivery,” he said.

The star told True Love that he finally found what he was looking for.

“He’s physically attractive and is business savvy and mature…. I saw him as I walked into the event and was curious about him. It’s obvious that we were both sussing each other out,” Somizi said.

Somizi first hinted at a new romance late last month when he told listeners on his Metro FM radio show with DJ Fresh that he was 12 days into a relationship.

“We video chatted for the first time last night. Before this we were just calling or texting. So far, so good,” he said.

The bling order will be Van Tonder’s sixth this year as she has already sold at least five similar thongs, pocketing R1.2million.

She said the store targets the A-plus income group and that she has been in the business of dressing the rich and famous for 26 years.

“Black men identify with La Perla and that is all they want,” said Van Tonder. “One of the most loved items in the shop is the Maison range which is silk with embroidered lace.”

Sunday World visited the store to see some of the luxurious lingerie on offer. Some of the items on display include camisoles, nightgowns and French knickers that will set you back up to R22000.

Van Tonder said that a number of local celebrities frequent her exclusive store to stock up on high-end lingerie.

Award-winning rapper Emtee, real name Mthembeni Ndevu, said he has been buying top notch underwear for up to R4 500 since 2015.

“Times have changed. I buy what I can afford. My spouse and I buy underwear from R3000, R4500 and whatever we like.

“It is also about quality and spoiling yourself with the things you like,” he said.

Metro FM DJ Lerato Kganyago said: “The most expensive I have bought was a bra for R4000. It’s about comfort and hygiene.”

TV presenter and actress Boity Thulo said the most expensive underwear item she has ever bought was R3000.

A top businessman, who did not want to be named, said he pays for what he fantasises about: “If I imagine my woman in beautiful underwear, I go buy it even if it’s R15000.”

RED ALERT FOR GRACE MUGABE SHE IS NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE SA

Police Minister Fikile Mbalula on Thursday said that police have put out a “red alert” at South African borders for Zimbabwean first lady Grace Mugabe, in case she attempted to leave the country.

Speaking at the sidelines of an indaba on gender based violence,  Mbalula said security measures have been put at the borders, however, she had not made any attempts to leave. Matters involving her diplomatic immunity still needed to be resolved.

“We, in terms of South African Police, already put tabs in the borders in relation to her leaving the country, so there is no question about that,” said Mbalula.

“So tabs have been put, a red alert has been put, so she is not somebody who has been running away,” he said.

Mugabe has been accused of assaulting South African model Gabriella Engels at a Sandton hotel last weekend.

She was visiting her sons on Sunday when she reportedly stormed into their room and assaulted Engels, who she accused of living with her sons – who are both in their 20s and live in Johannesburg.

Mugabe allegedly assaulted Engels with an electric cord in the face and head. The model sustained serious injuries and has since laid a charge of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm.

The police ministry had previously announced that Mugabe would be appearing in court to answer for the charges but she never pitched.

It was also reported that she would hand herself over to police to give a warning statement, this also never happened.

In a subsequent press release the ministry said her lawyers and government representatives made verbal representations to SAPS investigators that the suspect wished to invoke diplomatic immunity cover and  she elected to change her mind about the warning statement.

Mbalula said since the matter was now in the hands of Dirco.

“There has been an exchange since the day I announced she would appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court, which was an agreement, she didn’t appear up until the point now, where issues of immunity must be attended to.”

Mbalula added that, had it been someone else facing such allegations, they could have already moved on the person in terms of the issues.

“Anyone that comes to South Africa must know we are a constitutional state and a law state and nothing will just be left.”

It has been reported that President Robert Mugabe has arrived in South Africa two days early for the 37th SADC Heads of State and Government Summit.

Robert Mugabe’s sons kicked out of their luxurious Sandton apartment

The two sons of President Robert Mugabe, Robert Junior and Chatunga Bellarmine were kicked out from a luxury apartment block in Johannesburg’s Sandton, because of their “unacceptable behaviour” reported a newspaper on Friday.

The two sons of President Robert Mugabe, Robert Junior and Chatunga Bellarmine were kicked out from a luxury apartment block in Johannesburg’s Sandton, because of their “unacceptable behaviour” reported a newspaper on Friday.

This comes after President Mugabe said his wife had to urgently fly to South Africa to find secure accommodation for their two sons, reports the Daily Sun. The Mugabe sons had relocated to South Africa from Harare and Dubai earlier this year.

According to the Zimbabwe Independent, quoting unnamed sources, said the two boys had been renting a luxury apartment at The Regent apartment hotel, in Morningside, Sandton. The apartments at the building are rented out for up to R74 000 per month, the paper said.

“The boys were usually up during the night partying with different ladies, drinking and smoking,” one unnamed resident told the paper. “There were almost daily complaints by other tenants about the noise coming from apartment 601.”

In a front page story, the Independent said things came to a head late last month after “a violent brawl” in the complex’s entrance area left a member of the boys’ security team seriously injured, said the paper.

The First Lady’s trip to South Africa last month meant that she missed a rally to drum up support for her husband’s 2018 re-election bid. It was at that rally that Mugabe first told supporters about his sons’ accommodation “emergency”, although he gave no details.

Contrary to belief Babes Wodumo has been hustling hard behind the scenes and didn’t just become an ‘overnight success’.

Before the bright lights of stardom, Babes distributed flyers for late gospel star, Sfiso Ncwane.

Taking to social media, Sfiso’s widow, Ayanda took a trip down memory lane to reflect on Babes’ journey to the top.

“They call you Babes Wodumo, I still call her Bongekile, my daughter. This girl served under mine and my late husband’s company, working every day tirelessly with passion and hope that one day she will become a star she is today,” said Ayanda.

Ayanda also set the record straight on commentary that Babes became a star overnight with her hit track Wololo.

“Just so you know, Babes Wodumo is not an overnight success, she served under my leadership at my office, distributing flyers and doing real work at office as we were organizing gospel events, yes gospel events.

“God remembered her and she is now reaping her fruits of serving, she did not just fall into luck, she served and was patient for her time. I wish one day someone will tell your real story babe gal,” she added.
